Yejj training is a pioneering & innovative organization providing international standards of training & access to employment opportunities.
This training is made available to those from underprivileged backgrounds, so that they can contribute positively - as effective and productive individuals in society and the workplace.
Yejj Training Cambodia uses the following names;
Yejj eAcademy is the Cisco Regional Academy in Cambodia & provides training in Cisco Networking, Microsoft Office (Activ Courseware), English & interpersonal skills. We are accredited ICDL & Pearson Vue testing centers.
Yejj Hospitality Training Centre (HTC) provides training in cookery, waiting, housekeeping & child care. We partner with many shelters & non profits, as well as the hospitality industry.
Yejj aim to create innovative models of training that have social impact, are not long term donor dependant, requiring initial funding and being sustainable and replicable in the future.
In 2009 we provided over 547 courses, of which 67% were from shelters & non profit organisations, directly receiving scholarships & subsidised training.
Behind these numbers are lives impacted & changed, careers started or improved, confidences built & institutionalism broken down.
Our practical & applied courses give graduating students a deep understanding and experience of the skills they have learnt and prepares them to enter the workplace.
Our key emphasis is on gender equality and creating opportunity for those from underprivileged backgrounds, as well as providing training for agencies and companies in Cambodia, ensuring a supportive learning environment, which promotes creativity, achievement and hard work.
We aim to provide training for up to 300 students per year. To achieve this, for the IT training, we have expanded provided practical labs for Cisco networking courses.
The Yejj Hospitality Training Centre now has kitchens for cookery courses, a washing area and a small training apartment for housekeeping training. Complementing these are classrooms and computer rooms for theory.
